We are really pleased to be collaborating with partners to deliver this grant aimed at groups of producers and businesses who traditionally might struggle to secure funding of this kind. Lots of great initiatives already announced as successful in securing funding from The Connect Local Regional Food Fund (RFF) with more to come over the coming weeks with the closing date tomorrow, 1st November, for the next round.
If you haven’t already found out about this opportunity then all information is here. It is a grant to support growth in Scotland’s local/regional food and drink sector. It’s a competitive fund and applicants can apply for grants up to a maximum of £5000.
This fund will support initiatives and projects in Scotland which celebrate and promote locally sourced and produced food and drink, in line with the priorities of Ambition 2030. The fund is for collaborative projects where groups of producers and food & drink businesses benefit from these initiatives and projects are expected to deliver benefits over the long-term. Successful applicants to date have been reflective of the diversity of business and opportunity being created across Scotland in this sector and it is hopeful that with this help real benefit will be delivered to communities through an exciting and sustainable food and drink offering.
